The Moon and Me

I grew up in Vietnamese culture in which the Lunar calendar is as important as the Sun calendar. However, I was only aware that my family used the moon cycle to mark different national holidays, and crucial ceremonies or anniversaries throughout a year. Besides, I never questioned why or at least showed a tiny interest in this field because I got accustomed to following what was told by elderly people.
Since having I consciously been awakened, mindfulness and intuition develop stronger inside my spiritual world. My mind, body, and spirit become more intact, sensitive, and mindful about the changes of nature, especially with the moon cycle. It has been a whole awkward, unproductive, dry, and exhausting week for me. I constantly wondered why I experienced such horrible feelings. Instantaneously, it reminded me of the moon and it impacts on our emotional and spiritual conditions.
After doing a quick research, these articles about the influences and interpretation of moon cycle phases opened my eyes. I am walking through the last phase which is Waning Crescent or Balsamic Moon. This is a perfect time for rest and reflect. It partly explained why I felt so relieved and peaceful mentally. All my energy travels back to the inner space, slows down, and refreshes in order to prepare for a new cycle.
It blows my mind with the fact that our minds, bodies, and spirits tremendously get impacted by nature. This truth never fades away. On the other hand, we are just busy or distracted by multiple factors in life which are pulling us away from our origin and core values of life. Let's take a moment to slow down, breathe, and connect with ourselves, and Mother Nature! You will see how powerful it is!
